Maybe add your own challenge to Stalker? Don t allow yourself to pick uptop tier clothing. We each play for our own reasons, each with our own preferences and playstyles. I like a good challenge, I don t like playing a game or mode that makes me angry, frustrated and on edge the entire time. Interloper? Yeah, not my cuppa tea, doubt it ever will be, even if I finally feel like I have mastered Stalker. It is challenging, without being overly brutal. I have to totally change my playstyle and approach to things.

Stalker is still difficult enough for me. Voyageur has become relatively easy, depending on how much RNJesus loves or hates me at game start. Personally, I dont think any of the modes should be made easier or harder. I haven't seen wolves act as a cohessive unit, was it a pack attacking you or just one wolf after another? More wildlife would be good too

It seems to me, that it gotten a little tougher iwth the new outfitter patch too, I like it!! Ive already gotten frostbite in one hand, since I didnt find gloves for 12 days, so I still find some elements pretty tough. Ive read that they will be adding cougar and moose to the wildlife list, so the game may present more challenges as it develops further. I still find stalker very challenging, Ive only made it through mystery lake and pleasent valley on one run, then got mauled by a pack of wolves, after 57 days. Or try to find prepper cache spots, I still havent found one yet. In my latest Stalker, I ended up with close to 20+ tool boxes of both varieties. It's too easy to find great gear, to find lots of items, to find enough food to last 3 winters. But I think Stalker is too close to Voyageur and not close enough to Interloper to be placed where it is on the scale. In terms of the other difficulties, Voyageur and Interloper are perfect where they are, being the first level that introduces more dangers like animals, and a true challenge, respectively. Which brings the question: Should Stalker be harder? In little ways, I think it should be harder than it currently is less loot, rarer high-end gear, less herbivores, more wolves in one area acting like a 'pack' of sorts (and personally would like to see wolves truly act as a pack when confronting the player), colder temperatures, and etc other things which aren't sparking my thoughts at the moment but seem a bit too easy for the second-to- hardest difficulty level.

However, Interloper is definitely too much for me with my current skill level and knowledge, and feels more like a challenge mode than just your run-of-the-mill difficulty levels. I did the jump from Stalker to Interloper because, in most Stalker saves, I get comfy and supplied with more than enough stuff within a few days to a week or 2.
