It would be great to know if anyone has found a fix for this. When the headset is plugged in now it is only the вЂUSB AudioвЂ™ item that is enabled and becomes available for selection. The вЂManage Dictation SourceвЂ™ feature in ****** that is used to select the microphone still shows an item for вЂLogitech USB Headset H340вЂ™ from when the headset was first in use. The same problem continued after the upgrade. I have subsequently upgraded to Windows 10.

I was running Windows 8 when I first bought the H340 and when the audio stopped working. It is annoying not having audio when the H340 is plugged in though. Consequently it is the microphone thatвЂ™s important to me and that seems to work fine. It is listed in NuanceвЂ™s compatibility chart with a good score. My reason for buying the headset was for dictation use with ****** NaturallySpeaking. I tried all the suggested fixes I could find and none of them made a difference. After a few uses my laptop started recognising it as вЂUSB AudioвЂ™ instead. Initially it was recognised as вЂLogitech USB Headset H340вЂ™ and both audio and microphone worked fine. I bought an H340 headset and had a similar experience to Derek6198. Other users were having the same problem. I think it was the same discussion I contributed to earlier in 2016. The discussion that Stephan9050 gives the link for doesnвЂ™t seem to exist any more (the link didnвЂ™t work for me and it didnвЂ™t turn up under a search).
